Cannabis Information

Understanding Cannabis Product Information

A product name tells only part of the story. Labels, batch references and testing records provide different pieces of information about the material and its contents.

This page explains those details and the cultivation role of Vibrant Sensi Growers, based in Rebone, Limpopo, South Africa.

From Crop to Product

Different Stages. Different Responsibilities.

Vibrant Sensi Growers’ work begins with cultivation. Processing and finished product manufacturing are separate activities handled by processing partners.

    Cultivation

Growing and harvesting produce the raw plant material. Questions at this stage concern the crop, its origin and the records associated with it.

    Processing & Manufacturing

Processors turn raw material into other forms or finished products. Product composition, manufacturing records and packaging information relate to this separate stage.

Labels & Records

Know What Each Detail Tells You

Cannabis product labels and laboratory reports serve different purposes. Read them together where available, checking that the product and batch references correspond.

Quality & Compliance
  1. Product Labels

Look for the product identity, named manufacturer or responsible business, ingredients where applicable, and any warnings or storage instructions. For THC and CBD labelling, check the units and whether the figures describe a concentration or an amount per unit or package.

  2. Batch References

A cannabis batch number identifies a particular production batch. It helps connect a product with associated records and gives the responsible business a reference when answering a question or investigating an issue.

  3. Certificates of Analysis

A cannabis certificate of analysis records laboratory results for an identified sample. Check the sample reference, laboratory, analysis date and tests performed. Results should be read within that scope; a report does not establish that every possible contaminant was tested.
